In todays market, most of the games are becoming the same! Beside the sport games, they are either a first/third person shooters with crazy guns and equipment or a cartoonish unrealistic game with spaceships and dinosaurs around!

Torrentspy In Danger

The site indexing files BitTorrent, TorrentSpy is obviously far from having settled its conflict with the law. After being threatened for the first time following a complaint by the MPAA, TorrentSpy is again pointed by American justice.

In response claims from the MPAA, the judge Florence-Marie Cooper California court has found TorrentSpy guilty. However TorrentSpy has now destroyed evidence related to the distribution of unauthorized trading by Internet. “They looked at a large scale and in a systematic manner, to destroy evidence and providing false testimony to hide such destruction,” said the judge in his account.

TorrentSpy’s eliminated evidence related to the existence of pirated content, especially in terms of its forums. The entire directories of the site and its subcategories, as well as listings entire content pirates and IP addresses have been destroyed in particular to preserve the privacy of some users accustomed to enter TorrentSpy. MPAA really dont like this kind of behavior and now moves the case to justice.

This judgment comes as the MPAA has already filed other complaints against other BitTorrent sites as IsoHunt, BTHub.com, TorrentBox.com, NiteShadow.com, Ed2k-It.com, NZB-Zone.com, BinNews.com and DVDRs.net. Meanwhile TorrentSpy has already indicated that they will appeal against the decision and denies having violated any intellectual property since no evidence has been able to be provided by the MPAA.

Mostly popular within Mac fans, the interface Firewire or IEEE 1394 should get a major change with the introduction of the S3200 specification till 2008, which aims to quadruple its speed. The theoretical bandwidth would amount to 3.2 Gbit per second, compared to 800 Mbps for the current Firewire 800. An additional advantage: the new specification will be backward compatible with existing equipment, perhaps through the use of an adapter.

The Firewire 3200, is going to be a direct competitor of USB 3.0, which according to the preliminary specifications could see a theoretical bandwidth of up to 5 Gb / s, but also as HDMI interfaces for use on high-definition televisions, or eSATA, which allows you to connect an external hard drive to its computer. Unlike the last two, which does not deliver electrical power, Firewire can be considered to dispense with power adapter in most cases. The 1394 Trade Association also stresses the ability of Firewire to handle video signals equipped with copy protection.

“The standard S3200 strengthen the leading position in terms of performance of the IEEE 1394 among other interfaces used in the field of computers and electronics general public,” said James Snider, executive director of the 1394 Trade Association . The FireWire 3200 is expected to be finalized as early as February 2008.

Deploying more flexible applications, reducing the costs, etc. Virtualization is a key element of enterprise computing, and Microsoft intends not to allow the bulk of this market to have a promising future to a publisher like VMware. The Redmond company has thus to anticipate the launch of its Hypervisor Hyper-V, previously known under the code name Viridian. Built into Windows Server 2008, Hyper-V is now available through the first Release Candidate of the new server operating system from Microsoft.

Hyper-V initially should start being published around February next year, with the release of version RTM (Release To Manufacturing) of Windows Server 2008. “Offering Hyper-V beta earlier than planned will enable our customers and partners to begin to evaluate this feature of Windows Server 2008 and send in their returns as we move towards the release of final version, “says Bill Laing, head of the Windows Server Division. This early announcement is unusual enough to attract attention, arouse Does the interests of future potential customers?

This Hypervisor allows the creation of virtual machines within Windows Server 2008 without the need to resort to third-party software. Some of the flagship features Hyper-V are presented on the team blog Virtualization Microsoft. Among these include the ability to import and export virtual machines from one server to another or to manage up to four SCSI controllers per virtual machine. Hyper-V is also directly integrated with Windows Server Manager. The final version is expected to be available within six months after the release of Windows Server 2008.

Microsoft also indicates further development of the next version of Virtual Machine Manager. The next version will centralize the management of machines performed using Hyper-V, Virtual Server 2005 R2 unlike VMware ESX Server and Virtual Infrastructure 3.

The creator of Wikipedia looks different on the lexicon than he did 2 years ago.

The creator of the popular lexicon Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales gave a strong warning to the students who used the lexicon for school. At that time he meant that Wikipedia was not serious enough to be used for school work and studies.

The lexicon has now improved so much that it actually can be used by students.

Teachers and professors which refuses to use the lexicon are bad teachers Wales tells BBC. Wales says that today the lexicon is of such good quality that even students should use for study. He also says that today’s Wikipedia is very serious and the rules are strict when it comes to editing and posting on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia’s Savior?

A group of Wikipedia-users started has started a project and their goal is to increase the quality of the articles on the popular lexicon Wikipedia. The project got the name “Veropedia” and it is a gathering of the best articles from Wikipedia. All the articles from Veropedia are originally taken from Wikipedia, but the members of Veropedia read them first and fix small errors that might occur in a article before they add it to Veropedia.

Once a article has been stored in Veropedia it is impossible to edit it. If it should be neccaserry to update the articles this has to happen in Wikipedia first and later the staff of Veropedia have to accept the new changes and transfer it to Veropedia.

Strict Control

Wikipedia articles which transfers to Veropedia has to fulfill strong demands. All articles must be read by experts on the area and must have no dead links. Veropedia hopes that people will improve the articles of Wikipedia and later move them to Veropedia for inspection.

Veropedia vs. Wikipedia

The point is not that Veropedia will replace Wikipedia, at least not at first. The 2 sites got different tasks. Readers should visit Vleropedia first and if they don’t find what they are looking for they should go and take a look at Wikipedia.

So far Veropedia only got a few thousand articles, but they will add more and more. The project is still only in beta version.

The plan is that the project will become based on commercials to finance the progress.

You can find more details of the project at veropedia.com. There is still only English version available.

Open Trail Ready Next Week!

From next week everyone can download Windows Vista SP1!

The Release Candidate for Vista SP1 got released yesterday to 15000 testers from Microsoft Connect, and today it will be available to MDSN and Technet subscribers.

Starting from next week it will be possible for everyone to download and test this package.

Vista SP1 will mainly be a collection of security updates and updates that corrects some “errors”. The package will also increase your Vista performance but it will not have any new facilities.

Better installation

The install process for Vista SP1 has been improved in many ways compared to the older test versions.

The size for the installation files has been made a lot smaller compared to the older test versions. The update now require 4 GB, the older version required as much as 7 GB. A part of this disk space is being used as a buffer so that the final hard disk demand is a little bit lower.

A temporarily folder on around 1 GB which your PC creates under the installation will be automatically deleted after the installation is done, this gives you 1 more free GB.

The installation process has be optimized and corrected for errors compared too SP1 Beta. The process will also contain more information about the update so the users will know more about the product.

The Launch

The final version of Vista SP1 will be launched in the beginning of 2008. The first languages this pack will be available at are English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese.

Automatic updates of SP1 will be blocked at first so the persons who do not wish to install Vista SP1 don’t have too. This is mostly meant for Administrators. Microsoft has also released their own blocking program which you can download from Microsoft’s homepage.

Do you have a friend who is interested in computers? Here you get the 10 best tips!

There are tons of computer and electronic products to choose from and it is easy to buy the wrong product either to yourself or others. For the person who loves computer you have to be careful what you buy, even the smallest mistake can be huge in his or her eyes. So what do you buy to a friend, dad, brother, sister or others who have a great passion about computers? We will give you some great tips in different price classes.

The Right Mousepad

The computer with all its parts are 1 thing but it is also important to have good accessories. A big and good mousepad like Steelpad QcK Heavy should definitively be a good choice. This is also not expensive just around 40 USD.

Optical Storage

Even tough the HD formats are becoming more popular the good old DVD still rules. The best DVD burner these days are probably Samsungs SH-S203B, this players uses SATA and the price is around 35 USD. This is a cheap and good upgrade for most people.

Cool Memorystick

A memory stick should have good performance, storage and be able to take a beating. All this you can find in Corsair Flash Voyager GT 4GB and it only costs around 65 USD. You can also check out the version with no GT. This version is slower but you can store up to 8 GB on it.

Mouse for Gamers

If you got a friend who loves to play computer games he will love the Lachesis Gaming Mouse. This mouse got the newest technology we find on the market today.

The price is around 75 USD.

Beautiful Case

The components inside the machine are very important. Many people like to show of their computer how it looks like on the outside. The case from Antec called “Nine Hundred” is a very good case and it looks very nice. The price starts on 95 USD.

Better graphic

You will need a good graphic card to be able to play the latest games and get good image quality for movies.
Mike Shave from Mozilla answers him in his blog saying that he is surprised over that a person in Jones position could express himself in this way. Saying that a web browser is less secure because they update it a lot is absurd Shaver writes in his blog.

Shaver claims that this test can be damaging because it will make producers of different softwares not willing to update and fix bugs as fast as they get discovered.
