Well, today I was almost shocked when I double clicked on the tiny little icon on task
bar indicating available updates, to let them be installed.
For sure, available updates were not surprising for me since usually there are 1 or 2 minor low risk or recommended updates but this time, there was something wrong.

6 Updates released just today, 4 important and 2 Recommended !
Well, it deserved a research.
After a quick search I found, 2 or 3 of these updates were related to a critical security hole in Microsoft’s Internet browser (Internet Explorer) and the way it handles animated cursors ! One of them resolves a security hole in Microsoft Outlook, one for Microsoft Visio and the other is a tool to prevent hackers from installing programs remotely!
As Microsoft previously touted, Vista was supposed to be the most secure operating system ever but these words doesn’t stop hackers from searching and finding backdoors and holes even through an animated cursor.
